Over the last year We as a family have lost two of our most beloved family members, in June

we lost our Lucy she is the one lying in the chair she had, had arthritis for years but the last three months had become very ill and on her last night with us she had a stroke which made it impossible for her to move her right side and control her bladder. The next morning my son took her to the Vet and she was put to sleep. We were all heart broken, includding my little Rikki. Who unknown to us had cancer he went down hill very fast so at the end of Oct. I did the hardest thing I have ever had to to in my life I had to put my baby to sleep. All I can say because again I am crying I miss my little guy so so so much. But he is in a better place and no longer in pain and he is with Lucy. For I firmly believe ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN Where God can take good care of them.

So after you read this go and give all your Dogs and Cats and Pets a hug and love them while you can...

Hi everyone I know it hass been awhile since I have posted, but Ihave been really going nuts but it should calm down soon. Have you ever been in seach of a new home well right now my Mother and I are searching for a new apartment. It isn't easy the first problem is we have a DOG, a lot of people with rental property don't want a DOG and a lot of the ones that do have huge rents. SO it is taking longer than I had hoped it would. I am still hoping to be settled by the new school year. So how are you all. I have changed my blog format a bit hope you all like it.

Hey Guys sorry I haven't been around lately but we some friends of mine and I have been having some TROLL problems on an Air Supply Group we have on MSN. But we are working on it, all the while these people have been saying some really mean and nasty things though we stopped them from saying it on our group they are saying it all on another group. I know you all know how it feels to have a TROLL attack you so you know what we are going through...I will be back in a day or two.

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Gene Pitney, the singer and songwriter known for 1960s hits such as "Town Without Pity" and "24 Hours from Tulsa," has died while on a UK concert tour, his agent said.
Pitney, 65, was found dead just after 10 a.m. Wednesday (0500 ET) at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff, Wales.
His agent, Jene Levy, told Reuters Pitney died on Wednesday morning after given a concert in the Welsh capital the previous day.
There was no immediate word on the cause of death. Friends said he was in apparent good health and his death came as a shock.
"We don't have a cause of death at the moment but looks like it was a very peaceful passing," said Pitney's tour manager, James Kelly, according to The Associated Press.
"He was found fully clothed, on his back, as if he had gone for a lie down. It looks as if there was no pain whatsoever."
South Wales police said they had been called to a hotel at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday morning and that the death was not being treated as suspicious.
Pitney was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on February 17, 1941.
His 40-year career included hits such as "It Hurts to Be in Love," "(The Man Who Shot) Liberty Valance," "Every Breath I Take," "Town Without Pity," "Only Love Can Break a Heart" and the operatic "I'm Gonna Be Strong." His last U.S. hit was "She's a Heartbreaker" in 1968.
Pitney was also a highly regarded songwriter -- he wrote the Crystals' No. 1 hit, "He's a Rebel," Rick Nelson's smash "Hello Mary Lou" and Bobby Vee's "Rubber Ball." Some of his own hits, though -- "Only Love," "Liberty Valance" and "Tulsa" -- were written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
He was an early subject of Phil Spector's Wall of Sound -- Spector produced Pitney's version of Carole King and Gerry Goffin's "Every Breath I Take" as well as the Crystals' "He's a Rebel" -- and an early supporter of British bands such as the Rolling Stones.
Pitney recorded Mick Jagger and Keith Richards' "That Girl Belongs to Yesterday" and attended the session at which the Stones recorded "Not Fade Away," according to Allmusic.com.
Pitney was introduced to a new generation of fans in 1989 when he recorded "Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart" as a duet with Marc Almond, the UK's Press Association reported.
The single gave Pitney his first UK No. 1 -- 22 years after its first release, PA added.
In 2002 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Pitney's agent told Reuters that his wife, Lynne, had been told of his death. Pitney also leaves three sons, David, Todd and Chris.

He enjoyed more than 20 hits, including songs like Twenty Four Hours from Tulsa and Something's Gotten Hold of my Heart.
With an unmistakeable singing voice, at once plaintive and melodramatic, Gene Pitney had hits on both sides of the Atlantic.
A friend of The Rolling Stones, Phil Spector and Burt Bacharach, Pitney was also a noted songwriter.
He was born on 17 February 1941 in Hartford Connecticut and soon gained a reputation as a musician while studying at the nearby Rockville High School, where he earned the nickname the Rockville Rocket.
But his early flirtation as a performer initially failed to lead to anything bigger. Undaunted, Pitney moved to New York, where he worked as a songwriter at the fabled Brill Building alongside titans like Carole King, Gerry Goffin and Doc Pomus.
Success
Success was not slow to come, and he was soon penning hits like Rubber Ball for Bobby Vee and Ricky Nelson's Hello Mary Lou.
By 1961, when The Crystals' He's a Rebel gave Pitney his first US No 1 hit as a writer, he was a star in his own right.
But Pitney's career was anything if predictable. After his own successful 1961 single, (I Wanna) Love My Life Away, he was approached by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
They co-wrote three of his best known hits, Only Love Can Break a Heart, (The Man Who Shot) Liberty Valance and the classic 24 Hours from Tulsa.

OK this storm has blanketed the entire Northeast coast if you look up at the map I have posted here there is a little black dot in the white area that is where I live in CT it is in the blizzard zone I must say we have close to 2' of snow now, and it is still snowing and the wind is blowing wickedly.

I will say that I am so glad this happened this weekend instead of next weekend because Janice Jules and I are heading for a long and celebratory weekend in NYC we are celebrating Jules' safe homecoming from her second year long tour in Iraq. We are planning to have a wonderful time and I think that it was very kind of Mother Nature to dump this snow on us this weekend and not next. One of our plansis to go to "The Cutting Room" on Sat. night for a bit of partying
Well guys I am in a bit of pain now I have been working around the house this morning and I need to go and rest. But wish us a great trip the 16th through the 21st of Feb.

As a trucker stops for a red light, a blonde catches up. She jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door.

The trucker lowers the window, and she says, " Hi. My name is Heather and you are losing some of your load."

MY AMAZING TWISTED MAZE

I have been pondering my life quite a bit over the last few days and I have come to a rather good conclusion.
That life itself is an AMAZING twisted maze of. People, Events, and times, and places. I have chosen to talk about some of the more major events, people, times and places.

My first major event of memory was my confirmation, I remember kissing the bishops ring and that there was some kind of oath that I was supposed to take and I remember quite clearly that I didn't want to take the oath afraid if I did and I broke it I would immediately die and go to hell. But then I was only 7 and memories from when you are 7 aren't all that clear.

The second major event was my wedding it was a beautiful day a very warm Dec. 5th but one of the few last good days for the next 8 years.

The next major event was the birth of my son he was the light of my life. A beautiful tiny baby boy. Of course his Dad wasn't there as always. But non the less the happiest day of my life. The greatest thing I ever did.

The next major event of my life was a few years later when I had a still born child. The most hurtful painful thing that can happen to a woman is to carry a baby and have it be born dead. I think that is the first time I felt real depression. Again my ex wasn't around. I was far away from home so my folks couldn't be there with me so basically I was alone. Except for my 4 year old child. He kept me going though.

The next major event was my divorce. You know no matter how bad things are and how much you really need to get out of the marriage it is still a very painful sad event in your life. I was heartbroken that the man I loved 8 years before had torn our lives apart so bad that I couldn't even stay in the same room with him he had taken my love and turned it into bitterness and anger and pain. My son (who by the way his name is Jason) has a saying that to this day if my ex-husband gets within 500 miles of me I get bitchy even if I don't know he is there. OH well some thing I guess weren't ment to be.

So the next time you are pondering or musing just remember it is easier to sit back and take a look if you just think about it as an AMAZING twisted Maze then no matter how difficult things maybe it might make it a little easier to know that despite the fact you have no idea what is around that next corner it is in the end all going to connect and be the Maze that is your life. With all its good and bad twists and turns.

As I glanced back at my life I found that it is a few major events and a lot of little ones Some good some bad. All strung together in a zig-zag twisted up and down back and forth pattern that makes up our lives. It takes to us to where we are and who we are today.

I do have one major event that I shared though this past summer with two of my best friends :

Time 8:30am. The Place NYC corner of 14th St. and 9th Ave. The People Janice, Kimmy, Myself and Vincent D'Onofrio. At 8:30am on a Sat. morning as I turned the corner on 14th and 9th in late July there walking down the street was Vincent D'Onofrio which for me and my friends made a lovely weekend in the city and even nicer experience and so here on my blog I want to thank Vincent for being a very gratious person and waving back to a group of strangers in a car and waiting so patiently for us to turn the corner and let him cross. I tell what a sweet guy.
So to date this has been my musings although most of which would probably bore you to tears that is why I only skimmed over a few of the major events.

Smile it is almost Christmas the most wonderful time of the year.

These are just a few musings and to all my blog buddies out there I want to thank you all for coming by and reading my blog nomatter how boring I get. You are all wonderful people

Ok this is the 3rd time every time I save this the words disappear. Now watch when I post this the other two will come up with it LOL!!!
Ok here goes My Name is Deborah J. Walsh. I was born in a small town in Connecticut. I grew up here also. When I was 18 I married a young man in the Navy and I traveled all over the US. We had one child an son Whom I am very proud of. We stayed together for 8 years then I got a divorce, a few years later I returned home I guess I am what they say a true Connecticut Swamp Yankee...LOL!!! I now have settled in a small town in northeastern CT., about 5 minutes from UCONN. I drive a school bus for the Town of Mansfield. I am quite happy with my life now. I will tell you though if you ever want a career as a child psychologist then you sould spend a year as a school bus driver. As children grow up and move on with their lives their personalities go through several phases there is the innocent timeless quality of childhood that is the sign of children in elementry school. The idea is that you have to constantly remind them of the things that they are supposed to do because the wonder of life is always got them motivated and they forget the rules that are made there to keep them safe. Everything they see is a wonder to them. Though some are more active and noisier than others they are all pretty much in that WOW look at that stage and at that moment everything just leaves their heads but what they are looking at or thinking about. So in essence you are constantly reminding them of what they are supposed to do. That isn't a real big deal cause you realize that they are just little ones and their brains are absorbing more at this stage than it will for the rest of their lives so you just keep telling them to sit down get out of the aisle and inside voices please. No biggie!!!

But then you have the middle school kids and here you have the hardest part of your day. These are now no longer children with the wide eyed wonder of everything in life these are no becoming real people. Now I have more trouble with this age boys because it is the time in their lives when they are beginning to realize that they are becoming men. So they are always in a pissing contest with you about who actually runs the bus run you or them. Some are worse than others and this is the time in a childs life when they are the cruelest. Now girls they just want to talk constantly and loudly and their main topic of conversation is BOYS!!! They could careless who is in charge as long as you don't disturb their very important conversation about who is the hottest guy in school or in the movies or on TV or anywhere for that matter or what music they are listening to these days my worse problem with the girls is the LOUDNESS with which they can't get their voices up to. With the boys it is pick on this guy and push this guy around and we must do it in front of all our friends because it makes me look like a man.

Then you have the high school kids who are not into the getting up early thing I have often wondered why it is that the older you are the earlier they send you to school...LOL, you would think it would be ther other way around...LOL. I have wondered that since I was in high school myself. So anyway most of the time I spend with them they are quiet because they are either half asleep on the bus or napping before school starts ans they could care less who is sitting near them or around them. They are pretty well behaved and quiet and I hdon't have to speak to them at all. But there is a difference with my afternoon high schoolers they are now wide awake and most of them are in the 9th grade so they are barely out of middle school them selves and almost all boys. So they are obnoxious and discusting they think it is a really great and cool thing to fart and stink up the bus, and nice little things like that. They are loud and rude and have no patience for anyone different than them. Again they are still finding their way into manhood I guess. I hope for all our sakes they begin to realize soon that what they are doing isn't manhood at all...although I have met some men in my lifetime who aren't anymore mature than the 9th graders on my afternoon run. So maybe some men don't ever grow up they have the Peter Pan syndrome Wow well for today this is all I will tell you more about myself as I go along.
I hope you all enjoy this. I hope I have thrown in some humor to help read this without boring you to death.
